• Retrofit Development of Indigenous Marine Products

    We have developed in house capabilities to provide complete solutions to the customer right from system design to building the system and its final commissioning. Most of the products which we have developed are equivalent to replace obsolete spares. Availability of required spares brings the vessels down time to minimum with minimum repair charge. This is advantageous because in absence of required spares major replacement of old system with new system leads to extra down time and money.

    From our past twenty year experience in various marine controls, it is observed that most of the mechanical gear boxes / assembly remain in working condition for years together, but electronic controls often give trouble after eight to ten years. Most of the time OEM agents recommend the complete replacement of the system at an exorbitant price with longer lead time. That is where ACSPL can come in to replace only the control component thus optimizing time and cost. Basically our attempt is to help the Indian ship owners to give cost effective, economical solution with minimum down time.

    DP Retrofit conversion

    We have been successfully tested and installed the AIDP 300 on 10+5 vessels of Shipping Corporation of India (A Govt. of India Enterprise) and also approved by IRS (Indian Register of Shipping) after their detailed inspection and DP Acceptance Tests. All the Thruster Electronics, Logics, Feedback units are indigenously developed.

    CPP Controls

    Azimuth thruster electronic controls

    We have ingeniously designed and developed Thruster electronic controls and successfully carried out many retrofit work involved Schottel, aqua master and many obsolete make and model.

    Azimuth thrust Angle feedback units

    We have ingeniously designed and developed Azimuth thrust Angle feedback units and successfully carried out many retrofit work involved Schottel, aqua master and many obsolete make and model.

    CPP/BT Pulse Control Conversion

    WE have successfully upgraded more than hundreds of servo valve operated CPP control to pulse control for better reliability and easy operation and maintenance. Most of the OSV operating in Mumbai is operating with our CPP pulse control version.3

    Incinerator Controls

    "Control system has many modifications & wrong connections. Many functions were by passed due to wrong connections was short circuit in sludge program circuit which may have damaged the U-3 controller. If you are looking to repair or upgrade existing Incinerator, you have to replace complete refractory, control panel & all wiring….. recommended to renew the complete incinerator view above repairs.”

    However, Ship owner had reservation in replacing a just 10 year old incinerator. Hence Ship owner contacted us for a retrofit solution. The vessel was inspected by us and it was found that control panels were having multiple problems and many electronic modules were not working and the entire wiring was disturbed. Subsequently we have studied the incinerator control circuit and then designed and fabricated a new electronic module as per the technical manual, which was then integrated to the incinerator. Thus we were successful in solving their problem and thereby making the incinerator (which was not working for years) working in just two visits.
