Using location data via GPS, the system can show vessel speed and fuel economy per nautical mile during sailing. During offshore operations, fuel economy is calculated using a key performance index (KPI) which include all the major power consumers (M/Es, B/Ts, S/Ts etc). Trip based consumption tare function is supported to get totalised reports of each voyage. The flow meters operate reliably with no human intervention or manual input. All data is securely transmitted to the main controller via high speed communication lines. All abnormalities from power disruption, wire disconnection will be logged to keep the system tamper proof.
Each flow meter can generate a detailed health report that can give the operator information regarding any failing electronics or corrosion in the measuring line. This preventive maintenance will greatly improve reliability and reduce cost of inventory of standby spares.
Bunker report can be printed which details all the fuel transfer parameters, maximum, minimum and average mass, volume flow rates, density, temperature, GPS position, vessel details and operator remarks. Tank monitoring can show tank level and volume filled status in real time and can assist is calculations of fuel remaining onboard (ROB) thus eliminating tank sounding and manual fuel inventory management. The system can even detect presence of water in fuel oil tanks being monitored
View all the data gathered by energy management and fuel management systems together including vessel speed and position interlinked for better understanding of the vessel’s performance.
If you have more than one vessel using Vesper 900, you can manage your fleet’s operational data and compare them centrally from a single location with close to real time data depending on internet availability onboard. The data can be downloaded in MS Excel supported formats for further analysing. Powerful user management supports configurable roles and access rights to various employees. Remote diagnostics and software updates provides faster and time critical service from us.
WAGO Controllers comply with the highest security standards, as they encrypt data via SSL/ TLS 1.2 security protocols directly in the controller. The Linux®-based, WAGO controllers are a solid long-term investment and serve as integrated security mechanisms to prevent cybercrime.
WAGO cloud is a subscription based application and we can manage licenses and subscriptions monthly or annually and keep them synchronised with the on-board controllers so that you have your data anytime you need it. In the event of internet connection disruption, the on-board controller safely buffers the data until a connection is re-established. Hence the connection stability of internet will not affect the cloud data logging.
Energy monitoring provides you data of power generation and consumption of various heavy machineries onboard and fuel monitoring allows you to calculate it’s economy. This gives you the ability to observe trends that could improve preventive maintenance, compare vessel performance with upto 5 years of history to make operational changes to increase efficiency. Overall it reduces running costs and gives you a competitive advantage when biding for contracts.
It helps you understand the cost of each mode of operation. Identify and maintain optimum performance such as the most economical speed for the vessel.
